The first edition quickly became hard to find. With Walthers permission, the NMRA had a limited edition of the book reprinted. The book includes numerous photographs. A chapter is dedicated to a tour of the USS/Kobe Steel works in Lorain, Ohio. Finally, suggested model railroad layouts and operation are presented.
