The book covers all the fundamental practices of nonlinear system identification. Less emphasis is made on theory and proofs and much more on actual implementation aspects. Thus this book can be very informative and useful for those that want to have a sharp overview and do not want to figure out the mathematical details by themselves. Lots of examples help to quickly understand the concepts. After reading the book you will much easily understand recent publications in this field.

This is the second part of a two-volume handbook presenting a comprehensive overview of nonlinear dynamic system identification. The books include many aspects of nonlinear processes: modelling, parameter estimation, structure search, nonlinearity and model validity tests.
