For me it was a nice surprise to see the Analytic Hierarchy Process featured in this book, since it is not included in the vast majority of Management Science/Decision Making books I have read. Appropriate for a one semester Soph/Jr/Sr/MBA level course in Management Science, Quantitative Methods for Business, or Operations Research. Appropriate for courses/approaches where professors want to use full-strength, specific commercial software. The authors use spreadsheets for simple modeling of each concept, but then move quickly into Lingo, Expert Choice, and Extend.
